I´m in, just to follow you up guys. You´re doing a terrific job.
Would love to help, but, saddly, I have no modding experience and my English is not very bright.

Hello guys and girls

The mod seems to be of to a good start.

I was wondering if perhaps graphics could get a subforum, for discussion of flags and that sort of thing?

Awesome!

I was wondering, I know we don't want to do custom flavor events and that stuff til later versions. However, do we want to make a thread for ideas now anyways?

Greetings everyone!

The work done so far looks fantastic, I predict that this will be my favourite game/mod for the coming year. I am travelling atm but will try and provide some help when I get home.

One question: Is there any introductory post about setting etc.? As I understand it, you are replicating Grell's "Robert's Rebellion" scenario, is that correct?

Etel: A setting post would be a good idea; you're right, our first scenario will be Robert's Rebellion.

Alec: If you've got ideas, I say spill 'em :D No point letting them rot and get forgotten.

Somebody should also make a "Starting Scenario - Robert's Rebellion" thread, preferably one of the higher ups so they know what to put and can edit the first post :-P

Once that thread is up, I'm curious... all alliances need to be through living husband/wife deals, right?

So to make Robert and Ned allies to start the civil war, do we need to find a marriage there? Perhaps have Robert and Lyanna already married, and Lyanna "imprisoned" by Rhaegar? Does that prevent Robert waging war? Would a game-y player execute her to break up the Robert/Ned alliance?

This is mostly juts that I want to confirm the mechanics going forward for stuff, regardless of what we decide to do.

Greetings to everyone!

I came here to know if i can help this wonderful initiative :D

I'm a huge fan of the novels, veteran player of CK (and most other paradox games), happy possessor of CK2, and have some experience in modding, although mainly for the HoI2/EU3.

Hi jaz, welcome! You can start by reading the "Current Status" sticky on the General Discussion forum for ways you can help :) It lists the Stormlands as still unclaimed, but Ogaburan has expressed an interest in doing it (I'll wait for his confirmation before updating it).

I am reading it, thanks. I was somewhat daunted by the 80 pages of topic in the CK2 area, here it's much better organized.

As i said, i am somewhat new to CK2 modding (well, aren't we all), but familiar with Paradox game inner workings, and more than willing =).
Perhaps we could create a topic in the general discussion area where we can list some technical resource, and maybe a checklist of "what it can be done (triggers, checks, etc..) and what it's not possible/overly difficult".

I'll wait for a status update on the Stormlands.

Do you plan to set-up an SVN? (Although i believe the code is too much of at an early stage for it to be much useful now)

When trigger and scope lists are compiled, I'm sure they'll be linked to in our Resources thread.
