Sorry about the lack of updating, I've been busy with work recently and not done any real time on scripting outside of the day job. I might get around to updating the submods soon but no promises.

Hmm

Well, I've never played as Aegon, but I've seen the AI win the throne and he became a Blackfyre and got the sword and everything

I tested it multiple times with version 1.5 sadly it is not compatible with that version,it makes other scenario events not fire among other things.Unfortunate considering it is one of the best mods if you read the books and love the theory.It would be really nice if blackninja could find the time to update this mod,and keep it updated considering all his other mods work just fine.Here's hoping.

Can this mod become part of main mod like R+L=J game rule?

Don't thinks so. R+L=J is basically a cannon and Young Griff = Blackfyre is just not very convincing theory. There's a bigger chance that Aegon in fact Targaryen, son of Rhaegar and Elia or descendant of Aerion Brightflame. :roll: Also, all three options in this mod can be false. We can't know for sure.

R+L=J is heavily hinted at in the books and accepted as fact amongst most fans.

Yeah after Season 7 R+L=J is almost certainly canon but what does that mean for this submod,will it be updated or is it just not worth while?

Off topic, but my own theory;

I've always thought that Young Griff was actually a male-line descendant of Aegor Bittersteel and Calla Blackfyre.

This would; make him the rightful heir, and technically a Targaryen (Aegor never changed his surname and the legitimization made him a Targaryen). It would fit with the statement that House Blackfyre is dead in the male line as well.

Illyrio, a grandson of Aegor and Calla married Serra, either a daughter of Prince Maegor Targaryen - the guy who was passed up in favor of Aegon V - or a bastard daughter of Aerion Brightflame.

I agree but dont forget Varys is also most likely Serras brother or is in some other way connected to the Targs or Blacks.Which would explain his unwavering loyalty to the restoration of either Aegon or Daenerys or even both of them.Although i think Aegon will most likely fail and Jon will take his place as we can see by him being excluded in the show.But with the Golden Company coming season 8 nothing is certain.We all just desperately need Winds of Winter to fill in plot points the show is maybe skipping.

Yeah, it would be ironic if a descendant of Aerion, who hated mummers, was a mummer himself. It would also be ironic considering that Aerion threatened to castrate Egg when they were children and his grandson was himself castrated by a Red Priest. We really need Winds of Winter - George needs to quit being lazy or he'll die before he finishes the series. That said I really, really doubt he will reveal Aegon's ancestry. I think it will be left a mystery. Did Dany fry her nephew? Or a Blackfyre? Or somebody else? He will probably at least sit the Iron Throne for a time, with either Margery or Arianne as his queen. Dany will usurp him because it would be almost as ironic as Varys. The usurped becomes the usurper, at least in the opinion of the public.

Does it need to be updated?

I have it installed but I've not played a game with Aegon so not sure.

Yes it does.The submod doesnt work properly with the latest GoT version.It will show up on game rules and yes it will change Blackfyre dynasty tree but all other scenario events will not fire properly like for example Stannis letter about Joffrey being a bastard.
