The Citadel

The Stormlands (alongside the North) is my favourite region of the Seven Kingdoms. I wanted to play as Lord Paramount and eventually Storm King, so I choose the scenario of the Crowned Stag and apparently Renly is Lord Paramount once Robert assumes the Throne.

So, I began and started taking land in the Crownlands to increase my hopefully soon-to-be Kingdom. I arranged a betrothal with Margaery Tyrell to secure an alliance with the Reach. But once Renly turns 16 an event pops up about asking Robert to grant him a title. There's no way to reject this, and Robert always grants me the Vale. When this happens, Renly gives the Stormlands to Robert (who I then play as) to reign in the Vale.

I don't want to play as King of the Iron Throne, though. I want to eventually rule the Independent Stormlands, as was my plan. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this topic and if not, I'll copy and post to the correct (sub)forum. But can anybody provide any advice on how to circumvent this issue? I have an autosave almost a month before this event always pops up.

This should be fixed in the latest version, are you using 0.2.1?

Yep, using the newest version.

Ive personally had issues with the newest version where these bugs which were 'fixed' took a few new games before they actually disapearred.
