Glad you're all enjoying the mod as much as I am! I agree there's still work to be done to make this everything it could be, but it's quite good so far and as features continue to be added it can only get better!

I've updated once again, time to crush some rebels!

I went absolutely crazy trying to get my save converted to the new patch, but to no avail...nonetheless, I've decided to forge on and continue this until I've reached the Stark ambitions of freedom, and then I'm gonna move over to a new game. If anyone has any good suggestions for scenario/lord, I'm all ears. :D

Here's a quick rundown of some of the different, non-LP Houses that people are fond of by region:

NORTH
House Mormont - the rulers of Bear Isle. They have a Valyrian sword named Longclaw. Jeor Mormont joined the Wall when he got old to let his son, Jorah, rule. Jorah's first wife died and his second wife, a Hightower from the Reach, was used to a level of opulence he went bankrupt trying to provide for her. He sold poachers into slavery (a serious crime), and when Ned Stark came to collect his head, he ran away. By the ACOK scenario, the House is ruled by Maege "the She-Bear" Mormont, Jeor's sister. She has five daughters, most of whom take after her in terms of warlike ability.

House Bolton - The lords of the Dreadfort, they have a tradition of flaying their enemies, and have consistently butted heads with the Starks. Roose Bolton is known as "the Leech Lord" for his habit of leeching his blood. He's extremely pale and ruthless. His bastard son Ramsay is rumored to have murdered his legitimate son Domeric and is a horrific creature in his own right.

VALE -
House Hardyng - Is only remarkable for their heir, Harrold Hardyng, known as "Harry the Heir" because he stands to inherit the Vale if the sickly Robert Arryn (ACOK scenario) dies, though he'll take the name Arryn when he does so. [Note: this hasn't been set up in the current version, but will be set in future versions. In current versions, he merely has a strong claim on the Vale]

House Royce - Bronze Yohn Royce is the patriarch of the Royces, who are from an ancient stock of the First Men. The Royces capitulated to the Arryns & the other Andals that first landed in the Vale, eventually interbreeding and becoming indistinguishable from other Valemen. The Royces have an ancestral armor that's engraved with runes from that time they claim protect them from harm (in practice, not so much).

RIVERLANDS
House Blackwood/House Bracken - Two houses that were once petty kings of the Trident and have fought over land claimed by the both of them for centuries. House Blackwood is descended from the First Men and still keeps the Old Gods (a rarity among southron Houses). House Bracken is of Andal stock and follow the Faith of the Seven, so it adds a religious element to their rivalry. One of the Great Bastards of Aegon IV was a Bracken, and one was a Blackwood. They fought on opposite sides during the Blackfyre Rebellion. That's how far the rivalry goes.

House Frey - Lord Walder Frey is 80 and has over a 100 sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great-grandsons and grand-daughters. He failed to show up to the Battle of the Trident during Robert's Rebellion until it was sure which side was winning, earning the epithet "the Late Lord Frey" from his liege, Hoster Tully.

WESTERLANDS
House Clegane - the Cleganes were raised to Landed Knight status when their grandfather, the kennelmaster of Casterly Rock saved Tywin Lannister's father, Tytos, from a lioness, losing three dogs in the process. The lord, Ser Gregor, is cruel giant, rumored to be responsible for the rape of Princess Elia Martell, sister of Prince Doran Martell of Dorne and wife of Prince Rhaegar Targaryen of the Iron Throne, as well as her death and the death of her two children. Sandor Clegane, his younger brother was horribly burned by Ser Gergor as a child. He is a master warrior in his own right, however, he holds the concept of knighthood in contempt as his brother, despite being an awful human being, is one.

House Payne - Unremarkable save for two people. Ser Ilyn Payne, the King's Justice (i.e. Headsman) under Robert Baratheon & Joffrey Lannister, is mute after Aerys II Targaryen cut out of his tongue for saying that Tywin Lannister actually ruled the realm instead of Aerys. Podrick Payne, who's father died during the Greyjoy Rebellion, eventually squired for Tyrion Lannister during the War of the Five Kings, saving him from a would-be assassin in the Kingsguard at the Battle of the Blackwater.

IRON ISLES
House Farwynd of Lonely Light - This cadet branch of the Farwynds is believed to contain skinchangers who turn into seals and walruses and other sea creatures.

REACH
House Florent - the Florents believe they have a better claim to the Reach than House Tyrell, as their relation to the last King of the Reach, Mern Gardner (burned with all his sons by Aegon Targaryen's dragons), is closer. They side with Stannis Baratheon during the War of the Five Kings.

House Hightower - Once petty kings of Oldtown, where the Citadel, Westeros' premier center of learning is located. They were conquered first by the Gardners and then yielded to Aegon Targaryen rather than face his dragons.

House Tarly - Famous mainly because they have an ancestral Valyrian greatsword and for being the House of Samwell Tarly of the Night's Watch.

DORNE
House Yronwood - Once petty kings of Yronwood, they vied with House Martell for control of Dorne until the Martells achieved dominance with the coming of the Rhoynar. The head of their House is styled "the Bloodroyal." They fought with the Blackfyres during the Blackfyre Rebellion, in an attempt to wrest control of Dorne from the Martells.

House Dayne - The Daynes are famous for their ancestral sword, Dawn, constructed from a fallen star. Unlike Valyrian steel swords, Dawn is inherited only by worthy knights, who gain the title "the Sword of the Morning." The last Dayne to hold this title was Ser Arthur Dayne of Aerys II Targaryen's Kingsguard, considered one of the finest swordsmen and truest knights to ever live.

STORMLANDS
House Tarth - the rulers of the island of Tarth, they are ruled by Lord Selwyn "the Evenstar" Tarth. His only daughter is the fan favorite character Brienne, the Maid of Tarth, one of the few female warriors in Westeros. She was part of Renly's Rainbow Guard during the War of the Five Kings.

House Connington - Jon Connington was a good friend of (and in unrequited love with) Rhaegar Targaryen. He briefly served as Hand of the King for Aerys II during the War of the Usurper, after which he was exiled and joined the Golden Company where he was kicked out for stealing and then drank himself to death.

Big thanks for that list Hobbes, that gives me a real good list of houses to look at. I'll probably load them up and have a look at their starting positions in various scenarios to get a better idea of what I want, but there's certainly a ton of rich background to be had.

In the meantime, another episode is up!

Demense limit is going to start causing real problems. Also, once the north/iron throne conflict resolves they will surely attempt to reinstall the watch. Be prepared.

Wildling Barracks building will help with income, keep fighting those rebels, you might find the horn of winter and keep holding the wall for special "endgame" events.

Alternatly a gank on the independant north might get you some easy land, will be pretty damn tough to do it when they're part of the crown :)
"Non MTTH Tourneys" = WIP
"Merchans of Westeros" = Cabe made up some titles and i groan at the amount of work involved

What I like in these videos is the gentle "melisandre" voice talking about wars and all.

Now the real question is "will you start something with 3.2 ?"
