Bringing Back the Targaryen Dragons

PostPosted by Podrick pussy killer » Thu Mar 02, 2017 21:48

Im playing as a custom Blackfyre in the AFFC scenario and i was thinking that it would be cool to have a real dragon duel between me and Aegon. So there's a way to get a dragon egg belonging to the original branch of Targaryen dragons (descendants of Balerion)? or to add one in the custom character screen and make him related to them?

You can use the add_trait dragon_rider command and you will get an event that lets you pick a dragon. It's not a Targaryen dragon, but it's the best you can get

If you use that command you can open up that save file with a text editor, find your dragon and replace the mot= line with fat=77990001 makes Balerion the father of your dragon. Then change the dnt= line to dnt=497000 for the Targaryan dragon dynasty. Other Dragons codes to change mother or father of dragon can be found documents/paradoxinteractive/crusaderkingsII/mod/agameofthrones/history/characters/dragons.

open your "save"

click [~] key
charinfo on

then hover mouse over the character and it will have the character ID showing. Then [Ctrl]+[F] that char ID in the save to find it.

Should see some of the insanity I've done on save editing. One play through starting just before the dance of dragons, then every 20ish years creating a brand new game and transferring "Important" characters from the previous scenario save into the new scenario save along with editing title histories. By the time I reached the modern era there was like 500+ characters.

4 new branches of House Velaryon (Jacaerys, Lucerys, Joffrey, Addam)
6ish new branches of House Targaryen (Aemond One-Eye, Daeron the Daring, Daeron the Young, Baelor Breakspear, Aerion Brightflame)
Houses Blackfyre and Bittersteel

Yeah like 500+ Characters, and about 96 dragons in total haha ugh.
