The Line of the Lost Dragon (Check Other Thread, Revamped!)

I decided to create an AAR which takes place after Aegon, or Young Griff has conquered the Iron Throne, and he died. He died at 28 which I found pretty young, but I decided to just roll with it. Anyway, here it is, also sorry for the lack of screenshots, they were accidentally deleted, they'll be provided in the next update.

Part 1:

The Young Dragon

"What is War?"
310 AC

The Iron Throne

King Aelon I sits the Iron Throne, having ascended it at the age of 7. His regent is Lord Jon Connington of the Stormlands.
The lad serves as a squire for Lord Connington,
He possesses Blackfyre, the ancestral sword of House Targaryen.
Aelon has one legitimate brother, Vaemon, in addition he has two illegitimate siblings, Daegar and Elaena Waters.

Stormlands

Lord Jon Connington is the Lord of the Stormlands. He is currently 44.
His seat is Storm’s end.
The King's bastard sister, Elaena is betrothed to Robert Connington, Jon's only child and heir.

The Reach

The Reach is still held by the Tyrells.
Lord Mace Tyrell is the Lord of the Reach, he is coming toward the end of his life however.

Dorne

Princess Arianne currently serves as Princess of Dorne.
The Martells assisted King Aegon in his claim to the Iron Throne.

The Westerlands

The Westerlands are ruled by Lord Martyn Lannister
The Westerlands went through a number of Lannisters, originally it shifted lines due to an attempted rebellion by Cersei Lannister, which was put down by King Aegon VI. It was then granted to Kevan Lannister, and after his death Lancel Lannister, whom was sent off to the Night's Watch for treason.

The Riverlands

Lord Petyr Baelish is the current lord of the Riverlands.
Lord Baelish is also the Master of Coin for the Iron Throne.

The Vale

Lord Robin Arryn is the current lord of the Vale.
He lacks an heir.

The North

The North is ruled by Lord Rickon Stark, the King's uncle.
The false king Stannis Baratheon, now a member of the Night’s Watch, proclaimed the boy Rickon Lord of the North, he was allowed to keep his position as to not upset the rulers of the North and as he assisted King Aegon in his claim to the Iron Throne after his marriage to Lady Sansa Stark.
Rickon has a direwolf, and also wields Longclaw, it was given to him after the death of Lord Commander Jon Snow at the hands of the White Walkers.
(A sidenote, Jon had a bastard son by the name of Eddard before he died.)

The Iron Islands

The Iron Islands are currently independent.
King Euron "Crow's Eye" sits the Seastone Chair.
The Night's Watch

The Wall fell to the White Walkers, however the Night's Watch still remains in a small castle north of the Wall.
Lord Commander Godry the Giantslayer currently commands the Night's Watch.

Essos

Slaver’s Bay

Slaver’s bay is ruled by the King’s aunt, Queen Daenerys Stormborn.
She is married to Prince Edric Baratheon of the Iron Throne, whom was legitimized and still is recognized as a prince.
Currently this includes, Astapor, Yunkai, and Meereen.
She is the only dragonrider in the known world, and she rides Drogon.

Aelon I

“All hail King Aelon, of House Targaryen First of His Name, King of the Andals the Rhoynar, and the First men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm!” The boy was crowned by the high septon. He stood stiffly as Jon had told him to, “Tall and proud.” as he’d said. After this he’d go and engage in some sort of tomfoolery with Jon’s son, Robert. The lad was Aelon’s age, and the two were inseparable, both were tutored by Lord Connington. Jon was a good friend of his father’s, Aelon hadn’t known his father very well, aside from the man giving him a few lessons on ruling. He was more acquainted with his mother, Sansa. Lady Stark didn’t seem too phased by her husband’s death, she enjoyed Aegon, but she didn’t necessarily love him, and that was alright, as he didn’t love her either, they were simply acquaintances. She’d organized the funeral, which had taken place a week prior and that was about it. The coronation wrapped up, and there was a feast to be held after, the nobility gathered but Aelon simply returned to his chambers and awaited his friend.

Good start, I'll be following this. Just a few questions and critiques:

1.) Aelon... Sounds like a badass name. Did the game generate it, or did you come up with it? Never seen it appear before in my games.

2.) Jon Snow had a bastard... If I may ask, who was the lucky woman? Also, Jon always proves extremely virile in my games. In my AAR he has gone through 5 wives (he is very unlucky... Every one has died before him). He has 12 kids in my game and he is only 40.

3.) You married Sansa... SCORE! I actually can't think of a better potential queen for fAegon, though alass I cannot see a scenario in GRRM-land where they actually hook up.

4.) Robert Connington? I know a lot of people hate save-scumming, but I think under the circumstances it is acceptable. Jon Connington hates Robert Baratheon with a passion.

1.) It was supposed to be Aelor but I just switched the r to an n because I found that was a common name through my Valyrian playthroughs :P

2.) Just some random Night's Watch courtier woman, and oh my lord.

3.) I thought it worked well just because Rickon had been dubbed Lord of Winterfell, so it was for troops and just because she had the Attractive trait, plus I didn't want to deal with all of Dany's shenanigans

4.) Eh, too deep in now, Robert is just a common stormlander name, so it's like eh.

Also just a little sidenote, things will be much more fleshed out when Aelon grows up, it's just like there isn't very much material at the moment.

Aelon I

311AC - Aelon and Robert had been training with the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, Ser Rolly Duckfield. The man had apparently been a centerpiece of his father’s war for the throne. Rolly was generally very kind to the young king and his friend, having apparently been close with the lad’s father.
Lord Jon came into the yard, seemingly a bit more stoic than usual. “Ahem, your grace, a word.” Aelon looked up at the man, nodding to him. “We are at war.” Aelon blinked. “D-Does that mean I have to go fight?” the Lord of the Stormlands gave a faint smile at this. “No, your grace, that will be my duty. The armies of the Riverlands are still weakened from your father’s wa-” Jon stopped, “He’s too young to understand a word of this,” he thought to himself. “I’m going to be gone, thus I’m leaving your training in the hands of Lord Commander Rolly here.” He gave the Kingsguardsman a pat on the shoulder. “I’ll do a better job than you ever would Jon.” Rolly shot Jon a wink, the two were friends, having been brothers in arms and strengthened their bond over Aegon. Robert had been silent, his face was neutral. Robert and his father’s relationship wasn’t rocky, nor overly loving. It seemed as if Aelon was more Jon’s son than Robert by the way he treated him. Rolly knelt down in front of the young lord, “He’ll be back before you know it lad.” He then gave Rob’s hair a little tousle. “Myself and the men are to leave to rally the troops tonight.” Jon said. “Be safe you bastard, you don’t have me to protect you this time around, hehe.” Rolly grinned. “It was one time.” Jon couldn’t help but smirk as they exchanged the words. “Your grace.” Jon bowed and turned to depart. Aelon glanced over at Robert, his expression rather stoic, the voice of Rolly is what broke the silence. “Back to training you two, what're we to do if the Protector of the Realm can't even protect himself, eh?” He gave Aelon's hair a little tousle and the three got back to work.

316AC - “Your Grace!” Ser Rolly Duckfield shouted, he swung open the young King’s door. The lad had been sleeping, for it was the middle of the night, he wearily rubbed his eyes. “Huh?” He blinked a couple times, now recognizing whom the voice had come from. “Lord Commander, what is it?”
“Lord Jon has returned. We have captured the treacherous Lord Baelish, he is to be judged at the morrow, alongside his fellow rebellious lords.”
Image
The next day Aelon was awoken early, he was to be dressed and escorted to the throne room. He seated himself upon the Iron Throne, this was the first time he’d seen Jon since he’d left five years. His hair had gone gray, he looked a bit worn, Ser Rolly had told him that was what war did to a man though. In front of him were his seven Kingsguardsmen, standing ready to defend their king. Jon stepped forward, and the whole throneroom when silent.

“I believe we all know what is on today’s agenda. Bring him forth.” Escorted by the goldcloaks was Lord Petyr Baelish, the fellow still wore his usual sly smirk. Once he finally was put in front of the throne, the goldcloaks moved him into a kneel, perhaps with a bit too much force.

“Lord Baelish, you have commited treason against the realm, and against your King, what say you?”

Whispers filled the throneroom, when they finally died down, the man spoke,

“I simply ask that the king judge me justly.”

“Well. Justly you shall be j-”

“Ahem.” Aelon spoke up, beckoning Lord Connington over. Jon perked a brow, moving toward his king.

“What is to be done with Lord Baelish?” Aelon asked, quiet as a mouse.

“Execution. Beheading more specifically.”

Aelon’s eyes widened a bit, “I-I, I thought maybe we could show mercy.”

“Your Grace?! He named you a tyrant, spat upon your name! He started a war that lasted five years! Men died!”

Aelon shook his head. “No, no, my lord, death is too much still. He can think about what he’s done at the wall. He’d be freezing his arse off hehe, and no women, no lavish life, maybe he’ll die there if it makes you feel any better.”

Jon frowned, but then his face changed into his usual stoic expression.

“Lord Baelish, in the name of King Aelon, First of his Name, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of the realm, I hereby banish you to the Night's Watch.”
Image
Whispers of shock filled the throne room. Jon motioned for them all to quiet down.

"I also grant Tyrion Lannister Ser Baelish's title of Harrenhal."
Image
Tyrion stepped forth, bowing before the throne. "I shall serve you far more faithfully than Baelish Your Grace. What a nasty nasty fellow."

Aelon grinned, he already enjoyed the little man.

"Thank you, Lord Lannister."

The lad then gave a nod, he rose from the Iron Throne and everyone bowed their heads as the boy king and his Kinguardsmen departed the throneroom.

This has been cancelled due to my previous computer breaking and me not being able to recover the savegame it was played on. I've gotten a new computer and intend on making another AAR with a different concept.

Damnit I was starting to like this. Hmmm, Maybe I'll start a similar AAR.

I've decided to sort of redo this whole AAR idea. Expect a new thread and most likely different characters coming soon.

Oh shit. I pretty much came up with the exact same name for my AAR lol. Sorry, I honestly didn't even think of this one when I was coming up with the name. Back to the drawing board.
