So I thought that it would be more appropriate to wait until a larger batch of stuff is finished and then upload them. But I can start uploading them to my team folder or straight to the build if you would prefer that.

Ok, do as you prefer. I just asked since I was planning to generate a new version for testers, which should be close to our first actual public release.

Oh no! I was too ambiguous. I did those beards because of your request! :D

...oh.

Yeah, I totally knew that. Definitely. No mistakes here!

So long as I'm requesting distinctive facial hair... how about Ser Rodrik's whiskers?

EDIT: ...wait, does Rodrik actually tie his whiskers under his chin in the books, or is the show playing tricks on my memory again?

Purely out of curiosity, when will the new beards be uploaded? The old ones are horribly ugly in comparison.

Calm down.. :D I've been busy. I've uploaded the beards and some other stuff to DropBox. Not the RC. Fat people look weird with these beards at the moment. I'll need to try to find a way to fix that later.

Updated my post.
http://citadel.prophpbb.com/topic342.html#p3557

-Northman headgear:
1. Crown of the king in the North, based off the description given in the books of Robb's crown.
5. Remade the hood, since the last one was hideous.
-Northman beards:
1o. Removed the moustache.
3j, 3m, 3o. New braided beard.
4j, 4m, 4o. New moustache.
-Northman clothes:
5. Remade this frame, since the old cloak one was hideous.
-Reguests
While finishing reading ADwD I noticed that maesters tend to have grey clothes, so I made an alternative a hooded robe for maesters.
-Dornish female clothes
1, 2, 3. New clothes for dornish females.

Regarding the dornish women. It seems to be that the dornish nobility is described as having loose, colourful clothes with thin fabrics, so that's the kind of style I'm trying to get at. I'll use the pictures posted here as a reference as well as any material I can find on the dornish on the Internet.

Awesom work as always, just;
1. Its supposed to be copper... not gold...

Your general attention to details is admirable tho.

And please merge these... and you can replace the vanilla beards for all the cultures with your 2j, 5j & 6j sets.
I also talked to cabe and we feel your 1j whiskers are better then what he made, so you can replace that as well...
(im assuming its not much hard work, other then some elaborate copy pasting of layers? if i just gave you some major time consuming task please ignore me if you dont feel like it .)

For a later version could there be clothing and possibly beards etc. specific to the Skagosi (and the other free folk)? At the moment i don't really think they really suit the lore, they are altogether too nice and well kempt.

Yeah, I knew it's supposed to be copper. But apparently I failed to make it seem coppery. I hope the updated version is better. :)

Sure I can merge these and the beards. It's not hard work at all.

I'd be more than happy to do outfits for the wildlings, but since the skagosi are the only people bordering on the wildling side in the mod, for now, I won't do them now. Perhaps it would be sufficient for the time being to make them use the northman outfits?

It's fine for now, but for a later version it would be nice for them to look as they should, people who are rumored cannibals who have little contact with the outer world and lived on a mountainous and cold island so it would be unlikely to have mail and probably a large amount of pelts and leather.

A (potentially) more ambitious portrait request: backgrounds. (assuming they're technically possible) I have plans for portrait backgrounds, and I'd like to see the following:

  • Mountains
  • Snow-covered field/glacier
  • Snowy forest
  • Snow-covered mountains
  • Battlements of a castle

There are currently 21 backgrounds, and I am under the impression that 26 is the maximum amount of frames per layer, so I would think that adding four new backgrounds should be technically possible. I'm not much of an artist, but I can certainly try my best. Perhaps dauncosony would have more experience with landscapes?

Edit: or we could just take photographs from the Internet and edit them a bit.
