Really cool, sorry if posting about MP was an inconvenience and thank you for this
“And now it begins,” said Ser Arthur Dayne, the Sword of the Morning. He unsheathed Dawn and held it with both hands. The blade was pale as milkglass, alive with light.
“No,” Ned said with sadness in his voice. “Now it ends.”

That group is the most active for online games, we usually play from times around 7pm-2am GMT everyday. Feel free to join us :)

Active, Roleplaying Multiplayer games. Thanks!
The gold cloak drew a shortsword. “Here’s your law.”
Yoren looked at the blade. “That’s no law, just a sword. Happens I got one too.”

Are there any groups actively playing? I am new to steam so I don't know really how to get involved. Or is there anyone who wants to start a group to RP?

If you asked us I might have allowed you to copy-paste it from our page, but I'm asking you kindly to make up your own considering you just took it without asking.

That request seems a bit silly, they appear to be common sense rules in regards to CK2.

But here, augmented rules anyone can use if they wish.

Spoiler: show
1.) Your character's traits define their actions, play accordingly.

2.) Play established characters only, no designer.

3.) Don't kill, or otherwise remove player characters from play without reason.

4.) Logical names only, no farthead from the Asshat dynasty.

5.) Don't pause unless it's an emergency.

6.) Give player characters a chance to react diplomatically before forcing actions like imprisoning.

7.) Don't spam other players with pointless diplomacy.

8.) Disband at your capital when feasible.

9.) Do not raise armies until Mega war has taken effect.

10.) Do not conquer Essos.

11.) Bastards are bastards unless you have the king's approval.

12.) Assassins are allowed, use sparingly.

13.) Outside these rules, use your head and play for everyone's fun.

Failure to follow these rules can and will result in warnings and full ban.

Whats the point? Why doesn't he just join the active group as opposed to taking the rules from it and making the exact same group?

Because everyone wants to be special? The reasons are legion. How about you, Why do you have a group rather than joining one of the established CK2 groups or the official AGOT group for that matter?

My group was the original MP group and I am also a member of the active one. I've been playing in these MP groups longer than anyone so I don't know what you're getting at.

What I'm getting at is, why did you feel the need to have a separate group? Which based on founding dates is nearly a year younger than the Official AGOT group and The Crusader Kings 2 Multiplayer Games group.

Because the official group isn't specific for multiplayer, its for the mod. Hard to organise games when the mod devs won't make anyone mods or admins that actually organise MP games. We used to try and do it there but it was just dreadful so we made our own specifically for MP. A new one was made to get rid off all the clutter and noobs who joined and people who wouldn't stick to our rules so we made the new one invite only and made changes to the group structure.

Its not like someone just took everything from my group and made a complete new one, we knew what was happening.
