Guides and resources

- Guide to custom portraits. Very complete and well done.
- Portrait painter. A tool to generate custom portraits without having to check them ingame. Still very incomplete, hopefully the author will update it.

Photoshop or GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/downloads/)

Because it may be useful for the purpose of transliterating vanilla DNA; most portrait utilities do not support mods.

Anybody hoping to make flags might find this useful; https://www.dropbox.com/s/bt7zfx7f7wvat ... exture.psd

You'll need a decent image editor to open .psd files. Paint.NET, GIMP, or Photoshop are all grand.

Replace the bottom layer with your flag (128x128). Ensure that any central pattern/device fits within the shield. Delete the shield layer. Then play around with the brightness/contrast values of the fabric layer until it looks right. I'd also suggest fiddling with the brightness/contrast values of your flag if it's particularly dark, as the fabric texture doesn't show through on darker images.

Hope that helps.

To AGOT team: Could you share some traits & ambitions templates (shields/bacgrkounds)?
This could be very helpful for people making submods that want to make something fitting rest of the mod.

Yah, dropbox closed my account for inactivity. Here I'll put it on my mediafire account which isn't likely to get shut down :p
