Has anyone found out how to make this show up in the "Game Setup" menu? Doesn't show up and no bloodlines appear upon game start.

You have not installed the submod correctly as it is not showing up in game. Make sure you extract the folder and .mod file from the zip archive using an appropriate program like winrar or 7zip and extract them into the Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings 2/mod fodler

Yes but the issue I am having is it simply does not work. I just redownloaded it for the 10th time. More decisions? No problem. Remade map border style? No problem. But this mod does not show up in the "New game options" screen despite me extracting it correctly several times, but it does appear in the Launcher of the game. So frustrating because previous versions worked perfectly for me and I don't like playing without it. Oh well.

Can you at least tell me what is the title for the options in the Game Setup screen so I know if its working in a future version? Because v6 there is just nothing I can do more in my end to get it working so all that remains is wait for new version of the main mod to come so this will be updated also, because there is nothing I can do differently.

Regardless, the more decisions mod works fine and I guess I can enjoy the game somewhat with it.

---------------------------EDIT------------------------------

Wait I just noticed something, could this menu be hard coded to allow only an even number of options? 1 on the left side and one on the right? This sub-mod would cause it to be an uneven number thus making it invisible? Could I be onto something?

The rule is called "Bloodlines Setting". Also this is 100% you somehow messing something up on the install as there is no other way to cause the mod to no actually show up in game without installing it correctly.

Damn, sorry for spamming the thread, I made an edit to my post right as you replied. Can you read and let me know? Basically, maybe this menu only allows an even number of options? 1 on the left side, 1 on the right? This mod would make the next row of options to have only 1 option, thus making it invisible? Or does your game have an uneven number of options and it works properly?

The number of game rules available makes no difference, odd or even.

I have fixed it. Anyone else having issues, cut out one of the folders. In most mods, the following works: (using More Decisions as an example)

Mod Folder/AGOT More decisions("Redundant" folder)/AGOT more decisions/*Mod files here*

In the bloodlines mod, cut out the 1rst folder, and make it like this

Mod Folder/AGOT Bloodlines/*Mod files here*

The mod now shows up in game setup without issues for me.

***********Apologies for spamming up the thread and thank you mod creator for your patience and attempts to help me, I hope this information might help someone else.***********

Wait you mean you didn't actually extract the folder and .mod file out into the mod folder for ck2. You just put those two things into one folder in the mod folder...

If so well no wonder it didn't work as that is not how you install submods...

You should have Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings 2/mod and in there have a folder called AGOT Bloodlines and a .mod file called AGOT Bloodlines, not have those two things in one folder called AGOT Bloodlines...

Lol I remember doing that when I was a mod-baby back when I first had CK2 and used things other than workshop items.
That was before Old Gods.
Good times, good times.

I have the same problem as others do. The "make my ancestors proud" message keeps comming op several times a year.

I have re-doawnloaded the mod and re-installed it, but it still comes up.

Thanks for an otherwise great mod!

Hey so real quick "bug or a feature"/"this mod or main mod" question: Velaryon kids of Rhaenyra no longer (even when dynasty preservation is turned on in settings) have the option to take Targaryen dynasty as their own upon ascending the throne and just was wondering if that was on purpose

I'm having an unavoidable CTD while playing with this submod (and many others).

After that in error.log I find this:
[persistent.cpp:37]: Error: "Unexpected token: gfx, near line: 6
" in file: "events/bloodline_maintenance.txt" near line: 6
[persistent.cpp:37]: Error: "Unexpected token: gfx, near line: 22

The crashing is likely due to using outdated or incompatible submods. Those errors do not actually causes issues, I will fix them for the next version anyway but they make no difference.

How can I breed a trait "into" my house? As house reyne I want the lannister trait to be a permanent one for my house, not create a new one. If I fall into a female character and marry some lannister matrinilenally will it work?

Unless you are using the no limit game rule then you cannot as in the default version the traits are only taken from your current dynasty and that of your parents.

To make your own bloodline, you have to have I think 5000 prestige, ruled for 10 years as empire tier, have no other bloodline traits, and not being the Emperor of YiTi.
