Hey LancelotLoire,

Would it be safe to assume that if you will be updating this for MNM, that it will be for 1.4.1 instead of the 1.4 April Fool's release which is mostly but not entirely complete?

Just wondering about one of my favorite mods :)

For the record this mod is not compatible with the MNM update for 1.4. Mine won't even load with it selected. (just in case no one's mentioned it to you yet). And yes I'm aware that it probably wouldn't have worked and that trying it was a shot in the dark but hey, would've been awesome if it worked anyway.

No rush, I know you guys have regular lives as well. Love what you and all the others through the AGOT mod make for us. It's much appreciated.

And yeah I figured you would probably wait until after. Just wanted to satisfy my curiosity. Any idea as to what you might end up doing portrait-wise? Personally the only one of the new Paradox portraits I like is the Frankish one. The English and sub-versions of english look... creepy. As do the the ones for pretty much all the rest of the updated European portraits

Or maybe you should have a little respect for the hardwork someone puts in this so you can enjoy a bit your life.

I am sure everyone here is eager to play the game with this mod but come on, even for me gets annoying I can't imaging what it must be for Lancelot... Asking every 3 hours is not gonna do anything, it's his call, his work.

Anyway, thank you for this great submod!

Hi Lancelot

Quick question. Have you had a look at the new clothing override system. I remember way back in version 9.something you had a seperate armour gfx. With the new society clothing override, I'm pretty sure that can be re-implemented. Having poked around in the society_clothes.gfx, I'm pretty sure that you don't actually need to tie the clothes to a society, and instead can set portrait conditions such as "portrait_has_trait".

Edit: It would seem that you could select it through culture or religion, and then put standard conditions on in the allow_property_values section

Second Edit: possibly not standard conditions, but one could easily use "portrait_has_trait", "portrait_government" and "portrait_tier" to implement most of the old armours.

Didn't really notice where I'd go about tacking it in at. Couldn't find an interface file for the societies.

I looked at it the other day before had to go to work. Didn't make much heads or tails over the file. And right now ugh I don't think I can manage to tell what it means. My brains fried (Picked up some bug)

It uses specific conditions (I wish they'd have just put in the regular conditions). It's a rather exciting prospect, especially if they add more conditions, such as a dynasty one. The wikipedia page is already pretty extensive for it
