Hey does anyone know if multiplayer works with this mod yet? me and my friend were trying but he couldn't connect to me. I opened up a bunch of ports and what not , but maybe I didn't open the right ones? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Yet?
It always worked.

All you need to do is got to multilayer, join & put in the right IP number.

Yeah, if you want to get multiplayer to work, and you want actual support for your game, buy it. It's 50% off on Steam and GamersGate. Keep using a pirate version, and you're on your own.

Rolfmao though honestly you should buy it or stick to eu3 cause Ck2 just isnt good pirated, I simply learned this by buying it 2 weeks ago, if you buy it by patch 1.6 it'll be much more polished and improved i hope. just check on sales and stuff try to avoid or get steam who knows alot use steam for pdox games yet pdox games seem to have less issues if u get it from Gamers Gate.

There is private servers and all the blah blah - but we won't get to it.

Anyways, I am in the same boat :/, I live in Brazil and to buy the game off Steam I need a international type credit card, which I don't have as of yet, but soon as I get it, I will definitely buy CK2 - it is very worth it!

That in my opinion would actually hurt the MOD's popularity - this mod was featured in Kotaku and probably will be later in the year (they always have GoT related stuff)

And for sure lots of people that saw the mod - had to acquire the game "differently" to see if they would like it.

I think the way it is to acquire the mod is fine and the real loyal players that will give opinions and help - with all have the legit game by buying it one way or the other.

Yeah a stern ''don't ask - don't tell policy'' with the occasional necessary banning would be the way to keep both the paradoxites and the buccaneers content and avoid the ''issue'' utterly. ;)

look anyone who say's piracy helps with sales and mod is telling complete utter BULLSHIT.
the mod should be exclusive to people who BOUGHT the game why should i fork out £30 while assholes who pirate the game can get it for free and expect to be able to play the mod which so many have worked hard on

Great and anyone who claims that piracy hurts sales and the mod scene is an absolute tosser, as pirates are mostly greedy buggers who didn't wish to spend ANY money on that product to begin with.

I paid GBP£39.99 on steam, does that make my word anymore worthy then yours, or does it give me the right to call people assholes?
HELL NO
Even if you owned the bloody paradox it would at best allow you to call them thieves and not such profanities.

So chill out, get off your high horse, and lets stop wasting time (and nerves) on a guy who is either trolling or is actually stupid enough to publicly promote WAREZ on a NON-WAREZ forum,

ok mate?

Sorry, but it seems that your butt hurt. If you do that you basically kill a games modding community. look on twcenter they handle priacy well and so does Valve. Piracy sales also are counted for some games espeacially made Witcher 2 much more known in the US. As you see later CK2 will never be as large as Eu3, Wc3, M2TW, M&B for a couple of reasons ...

They still at the end they Play, maybe bought, sold, modded, yet it all ends to making the game grow.

Edit: Also this topic is out of order, and already has been dealt with.
